Keith Wasserstrom is the founding partner of the Hometown Full Service Business Advisory firm, Wasserstrom & Associates Consulting, in Davie. Prior to that, he was a Hollywood City Commissioner and one of South Florida's most prominent corporate lawyers. Before going out on his own, Keith was a Corporate and Securities Partner in Hogan & Hartson's Miami Office. Prior to joining Hogan & Hartson, Keith was a partner at Baker & Mckenzie's Miami office for three years. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie, Keith worked at Greenberg Traurig for six years in their Ft. Lauderdale office. He predominantly represented emerging and start-up technology companies, from initial capitalization through sale or initial public offering. Keith has represented both issuers and underwriters in connection with public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities. Keith has also represented many private and public companies in connection with domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, tender offers, venture capital and securitization transactions, private financings and routine filings under the U.S. securities laws. Keith counsels clients in general corporate matters and negotiations with respect to management, licensing, distribution, employment, consulting and shareholder agreements and advises client regarding shareholder, regulatory, employee benefit, state and Federal securities and other matters.
